Description
The Project Engineer – PEB is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of pre-engineered building projects. The role involves managing design coordination, fabrication, site erection, and ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with design, detailing, and fabrication teams for PEB components. Review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and ensure alignment with project requirements. Plan and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Supervise site activities including structure erection, alignment, and cladding works. Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and project specifications. Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution. Monitor material procurement, dispatch, and site availability. Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports. Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and technical challenges. Ensure proper documentation, including drawings, approvals, and site records.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of PEB structures, steel fabrication, and erection processes. Ability to read and interpret structural and GA drawings. Knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project, Excel, etc.). 4. Good communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Familiarity with safety standards and site practices.
