QA/QC Engineer

Experience 10+ Years Description The QA/QC Engineer – PEB is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control across all stages of pre-engineered building projects, including design review, fabrication, and site erection. The role focuses on compliance with specifications, standards, and client requirements to deliver defect-free structures. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement QA/QC plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and checklists. Review drawings (GA, fabrication, erection) for quality compliance. Conduct inspections during fabrication (cutting, welding, drilling, painting). Ensure material quality by verifying mill test certificates (MTCs). Monitor welding activities, including WPS/PQR compliance and welder qualifications. Perform stage inspections and final inspections before dispatch. Conduct site inspections during erection, alignment, bolting, and cladding works. Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Coordinate with project, fabrication, and site teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records. Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IS, AISC, ASTM, etc.). The role involves managing design coordination, procurement, fabrication, logistics, and site erection while ensuring timelines, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met. Roles and Responsibilities Lead end-to-end execution of PEB projects from order to handover. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Coordinate with design, detailing, procurement, and fabrication teams. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget. Oversee site activities including structure erection, alignment, and cladding. Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
